About the Founder

A GEEKY GIRL AT HEART…

Neena Volk is the Founder and Chief Strategist of Geeky Girl Strategy where she consults with teams and organizations on how to go from idea to execution and excel at scale. She’s a swift and pragmatic problem-solver and decision-maker who identifies opportunities to accelerate growth and create high-impact outcomes.

With a strong portfolio of successfully leading teams through large exits and high-growth expansions, Neena is well known for her role as a Program and Operations Management consultant to organizations across the country. While she got her start in communications and employee engagement at a series of Fortune 500 companies by the likes of Duke Energy, Citi, and Omnicare, Neena quickly found a calling for startup and technology companies where she pivoted her work to leading a high-growth marketing group at dotloop.

Following the acquisition of dotloop by Zillow Group in 2016, Neena joined Everything But The House to build a team focused on B2B marketing efforts. Her knack for operations and infrastructure building quickly positioned her to act as Senior Director of Program Management and ultimately Chief of Staff at Everything But the House.

In 2019, Neena and her husband, Billy started Whiskey and Wishes, a 501c3 that couples a love for great whiskey and giving back to create “cask-strength kindness” throughout the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region. Since 2019, the organization’s first year, Whiskey and Wishes has granted a total of $160,000 to the Greater Cincinnati community.

Neena graduated from Thomas More University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication and Associates degree in Marketing. She lives in Northern Kentucky with her husband, Billy, and their three sons - Noah, and twins, Archer and Oliver. Neena is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky, the past chair of Covington Partners, and has served on countless steering committees and Board of Directors throughout her career.
